Brows

Eyebrow Reshaping is the grooming of the eyebrows, by tweezing, following the natural orbital bone shape of the client’s brow to suit the facial features. The three main techniques used by beauty salons to shape your eyebrows are waxing, threading and Electrolysis. Tweezing is much safer on the skin and helps the growth of the hair. Tweezing is very specific with the hairs that are removed, which gives the reshaping a more detailed look.

Cons

  • Eyebrow waxing is considered to be extremely irritating, and some people even think that it is a painful process. Eyebrow waxing can cause damage and irritation to the skin, including redness and irritation. The wax used in eyebrow waxing can actually cause allergic reaction, as it is not always hypoallergenic. In time, waxing can prevent your brow hairs from growing thick and full as you had before.
  • Threading pulls several hairs at the same time, which can make it more painful than waxing and tweezing. - If the person threading your eyebrows is not experienced, the hair can be broken, instead of being removed at the hair follicle or the skin can be pulled instead of the hair which can make it even more of a painful process. With time threading can thin out the hairs of the brows, creating a sparse looking brow.

Eyebrow tinting involves applying a gentle dye to your brows for about 10 to 15 minute to take them a shade or two darker. For sparse brows in particular, tinting works wonders at grabbing the lighter hairs to result in a fuller, more dramatic shape.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. With this method you can create almost any look: from a very natural light finish to a beautifully bold brow. First, we consult with clients about the best brow shape for their face and choose a color that matches the natural hair color and skin undertone. The brow area is then cleaned and numbed for the treatment. Instead of using a tattoo machine, a handheld tool to manually draw hair strokes is use. Lastly, we send you home with a aftercare instructions and ointment to be applied at home, to help with the healing process.

Ombré Powder Brows are achieved using a small machine, which disperses extremely fine dots of pigments even into and across the skin in an airbrush or shading technique.

Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. Instead of curls, a setting lotion helps brow hair stay brushed up and lifted upward for about six weeks.
